Cyril Kirwan MSc, DBA, FCIPD

Cyril Kirwan, a widely experienced management and organisation development consultant and executive coach, specialises in the dynamics of learning and training interventions in organisations
With a commercial background in the airline and financial services sectors, Cyril was awarded an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology from Dublin City University. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Henley Management College/Brunel University, the research for which focussed on the factors that affect the transfer of learning back to the workplace following management training and development programmes. He is a Fellow of the IMCA, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a Fellow of the IITD and a Visiting Academic Fellow at Henley Business School.
Cyril consults widely in Ireland and abroad, predominantly public sector environments, and teaches Human Resource management at Dublin City University. He coaches senior executives in a number of business environments and has completed comprehensive learning related interventions in significant organisations in the areas of:
- Training needs analysis
- Training evaluation and learning transfer
- Training of trainers and facilitators
- Facilitating organisational climate interventions
- Designing and delivering team-building interventions aimed at improving working relationships
