Emotional Intelligence Training

The presence of high levels of Emotional & Social Intelligence (EI) is the hallmark of successful organisations.

Defined as attributes that allow people, "to monitor one's own and others' feelings and emotions, to discriminate among them, and to use this information to guide one's thinking and action"*, EI skills are key qualities of leaders in organisations that excel.

And the most important feature of the EI concept is that, unlike "normal" intelligence, Emotional Intelligence can be enhanced over time.

Greater Heights works with client organisations to enhance the commercial capacity of their organisations through advancing the level of emotional and social functioning present in their establishments.

We achieve this by:

  1. Assessing emotional and social intelligence at individual executive level. Utilising the Bar-On EQi™, the world's foremost measure of emotional and social intelligence, we establish benchmarks upon which leadership development activities can be constructed
  2. Providing Emotional Intelligence training. Our EI Development System builds upon the EQi™ assessment process, by (a) explaining the detailed components of the EI model, (b) facilitating practice in the elements of the framework, (c) providing individual strategies for development, and (d) evaluating learning and advancement over time
